Ernest (PeeWee) Russell, age 55, of Paxton, Florida, passed away Thursday, May 8, 2014 at home with his family by his side. He was born in Crestview on Aug. 9, 1958 and was a lifelong resident.
PeeWee was a master carpenter, and a three-time Parade of Homes winner. He was an avid fisherman and hunter and enjoyed spending time with his family.
Survivors are his wife of 31 years, Nancy Russell; and five children, Brian Davis, Tiffany Russell, Eric Russell, Felicia Russell, and Leslie Davis. Survivors include one brother, Kenneth Mason; one sister, Opal Lunsford; seven grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received from 6-7 p.m. Thursday, May 15, from the chapel of Brackney Funeral Service, Crestview. Funeral services follow at 7 p.m., with the Rev. Jay Tyler officiating.
