I wish to extend my condolences to the Phillips family. I was in B&H yesterday and just found out from one of his co-workers who also worked at Sam Ash. I didn't know he was in the Poor Righteous Teachers or that he rode a motorcycle. I knew Sha through Peter Panic and mixing tracks for Deep 7x Apollo winners. I saw his studio in Brooklyn, but had figured most of the gear came from working at Sam Ash and B&H

To the Phillips family...It was our pleasure to get to know Scott/Shaheed and his lovely mom, Connie, when we were all living on Hanford Place some years ago, and loved and respected them both. Scott was a thoughtful, intelligent, interesting young man at the time. It is lovely to learn that he had realized at least a portion of the post-PRT success that he deserved - not least of which was a beautiful family of his own. We share your sorrow in a life like his cut short, and will keep you all in our hearts and prayers.
