FAIRBORN — Thomas L. Martindale, age 75 of Fairborn, passed away Wednesday June 4, 2014 in the Hospice of Dayton. He was born July 12, 1938 in Dayton, the son of the late Leroy and Evelyn (Mumma) Martindale. Thomas retired from the Dayton Daily News in 2013 and was a member of the Scottish Rite Valley of Dayton. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Virginia. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Kezzie; three children, Thomas W. (Carmen) Martindale of PA, Suzanne Martindale of New Lebanon, Sharon Baber of New Lebanon; six grandchildren, Christina, Amanda, Ashley, Zachary, Noah, Colton; and his beloved cat, Simon. Private services will be held by the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Shriners Hospital for Children, 3229 Burnet Ave., Cincinnati, OH 45229. We were saddened to learn about the loss of Tom. As neighbors, with adjoining property (until our move to Texas in 2010), we enjoyed conversing with you during those times of grass mowing.
God bless the family and may you realize that Tom is in peace with his recent medical issues.
