Pierrard, Dr. John Martin
86, of Sun City, Arizona passed away on June 13, 2014.
John was a graduate of The Chicago Institute of Technology where he received his Bachelor's degree in Chemistry. He was a Captain in the United States Air Force stationed in White Sands New Mexico. He also attended Texas A&M University where he completed his Master's degree in Meteorology. He continued his education at the University of Washington where he received a PHD in Atmospheric Chemistry. John was a published and respected member of the National Center for Atmospheric Research and E. I. du Pont de Nemours and Company. John enjoyed spending time with his family in addition to learning the piano, woodworking, yoga, computers, researching stocks, reading, bridge and gardening. He recently became a licensed ham radio operator. He always enjoyed learning new things and challenging himself. John is preceded in death by his wife of 43 years Helen Ann and his daughter Linnea Michelle. He is survived by his daughters Loris Pierrard-McCoy (Mike), Lianne Sixt, Laurellyn Pierrard and son John (Monica) Pierrard, his Grandchildren; Michael, Brittany, Sean, Robert, Mackenzie, Nikte, Liliann, Ixchel, Dakota, Alexis and Eliana and Great Grand Children Vincent and Olivia.
Our void will never be filled but we find peace in knowing he is at rest.
