TOM BEAN- Memorial services for Lee Higgs, 63, will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday at Waldo Funeral Home chapel with Pastor Terry Cripe officiating.
Lee was born August 26, 1950 in Wewoka, Oklahoma to Henry Lee Higgs and Bonnie (Winkle) Higgs and passed from this life on Sunday, June 15, 2014 in his home at the age of 63. Lee married Jan Acosta on February 14, 2006. He owned and operated L&H Auto in Denison, Texas over 15 years.
Lee enjoyed going to auto shows and auctions. He was an avid sports fan of Tom Bean Tomcats and the Oklahoma Sooners. Lee was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend.
He was preceded in death by his father, and two sisters Anita Gail Higgs and Marilyn Lanette Higgs.
Lee is survived by his wife Jan of Tom Bean, mother Bonnie Apple of Greenville, sons Terry Higgs and wife Misty and Michael Higgs and wife Ashley of Tom Bean, Bonnie Taylor and husband Toby of Tom Bean, stepdaughters Shawnda Cardin of Denison and Misty Snodgrass and husband Nick of Sherman, stepson Fred Hess of Sherman, sisters Joyce Shipman and Lavern Driver, brother Michael Higgs, grandchildren Sarah Higgs, Jacob Higgs, Morgan Cox, Tristian Bankston, Makayla Higgs, Caleb Higgs, Connor Yeary, Melissa Snodgrass, Bayleigh Stoff, Ryan Stoff, Mariah Snodgrass, Gracie Higgs, Lexi Higgs, and 2 unborn grandbabies Madlynn Snodgrass and Zoe Raner; great grandchildren Alison and Asher, and several nieces and nephews.
