John E. Kressman
AGE: 80 • Lake Hopatcong
John E. Kressman, 80, of Lake Hopatcong, died Friday, June 20, 2014, at Andover Subacute & Rehabilitation Center. Born in Orange, Mr. Kressman moved to South Orange and has been a resident of Lake Hopatcong since 1962.
The son of the late John and Catherine (Smyth) Kressman, he was also predeceased by his sister, Maureen Patterson; Mr. Kressman is survived by his wife of 55 years, Joan Kressman; his children, John A. Kressman and wife, Marissa, Heidi Schoor and husband, Bernie, and Susan Benson; his three grandchildren, Jonathan, James and Anthony; and his brother, Lawrence.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of the Smith-McCracken Funeral Home, 63 High Street, Newton. Full obituary at www.smithmccrackenfuneralhome.com, where online condolences may be offered.
