Victoria Betty (DiGregorio) Ecker, 95, died peacefully on Wednesday, July 2, 2014 at Saint Patricks Manor. She was born in Ridgewood, New York on May 23, 1919. Betty was the wife for 63 years of the late Carlton H. Ecker who died in 2004. She was the mother of Michael J. Ecker and his wife Maureen of Mattapoisett and the late Robert W. Ecker who died in 1981. Mother-in-law of Patricia O. Ecker of Ellington, CT. Grandmother of Elizabeth Ecker Bandy and her husband Riley; Christopher Ecker and his wife Amy Dusto; Abigail, Kerry, Christina and John Ecker. Great-grandmother of Robert Ecker. Betty was a resident of Framingham for several years and resided in Weston for 10 years. She had been a longtime resident of Plainville, CT. She w as a nurse for over 20 years associated with the Bristol Hospital in Bristol, CT. Visitations were held at the John C. Bryant Funeral Home of Wayland. Her Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Tuesday, July 8, 2014 at the Holy Family Chapel of Saint Patricks Manor in Framingham. Private family interment was held at St. Joseph Cemetery in Plainville, CT. In lieu of flowers her family suggests that gifts in her memory may be sent to the charity of the donors choice.
