Dear Cathy,
I'm so sorry to hear of the loss of your father. I remember your dad well when he was commissioner of Connie Mack baseball at 18th and Downing. All of the boys that played in our neighborhood respected your dad very much, myself included.
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Chuck mentored me on the baseball field on 18th and Downing. A few years later we crossed paths again at Modern Tool where I worked as a junior turret lathe operator. He taught me a lot. My deepest condolences to the entire Perry family.
