Edward Mihalik
Salisbury-Edward Mihalik, 84, of Salisbury, died on Monday, August 11, 2014 at Coastal Hospice at the Lake. Born in Saddlebrook, NJ, on July 7, 1930, he was the son of the late Michael and Suzie B. Mihalik.
Edward was retired from the Maryland State Highway Administration after 24 years of service. He was a lifetime member of the VFW Post 194, Marine Corp League, American Legion Post 64 and Moose Lodge #654. He was a Korean War Veteran and of The Chosin Few member, an exclusive fraternity of honor.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his second wife, Adele Mihalik; a grandson, Michael Glenn Mihalik; seven brothers and one sister.
Mr. Mihalik is survived by a son; Edward Glenn Mihalik and his wife Teri of Ocean City; four grandchildren, Michelle, Matthew, Rhianna and Carrie; three great-grandchildren, Gracie, Hadley and Aria and a brother, Stephen Mihalik.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00PM on Thursday, August 14, 2014 at the Maryland Eastern Shore Veterans Cemetery in Hurlock.
