Services for Mrs. Evelyn "Janie" Smoots will be at 2:00 pm on Saturday, August 23, 2014 at Pilgrim Missionary Baptist Church in Alexandria with the Rev. S. Y. Brady officiating. Burial will be in the Graden of Memories Cemetery under the direction of Boyce Community Funeral Home.
Mrs. Smoot, 72 of Alexandria passed away August 18, 2014 at Rapides Regional Medical Center.
