Joseph L. Hale 1965 - 2016
POLAND, NY - Joseph L. Hale, 51, of Poland, NY, formerly of Williamstown, NY, passed away Tuesday, October 11, 2016.
He was born July 8, 1965, a son of James and Pauline Britton Hale and was a 1983 graduate of Altmar-Parish-Williamstown Central School and 1985 graduate of SUNY Canton. Joe worked as a traveling nurse with the Fortus Group, Utica, NY, for the past few years. Previously, he worked at Schoeller Technical Papers and later owned and operated Hale Construction Co., Glens Falls, NY, for several years. He loved animals and was a competitive body builder and weight lifter.
Surviving are his mother, Pauline Hale; his partner, Alan Sloboda; a daughter, Stephanie and Rocky LaMonica; three sons, Geoffrey and Brittany Hale, Gregory Hale and Andrew Hale; one grandson, Jackson LaMonica; three sisters, Margaret Hale, Diana Hale, and Elizabeth and Chad Johnson; two brothers, James and Laurie Hale, and Michael and Lisa Hale; along with several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. He was predeceased by his father, James Hale, Sr., 2001, and a brother, John Hale, 1994.
Graveside services will be held 11:00 a.m., Monday, at Holy Cross Cemetery, Williamstown, NY, under the direction of LaRobardiere Funeral Home, Inc., Camden, NY. Calling hours will be held Sunday from 1-4 p.m. at the funeral home, 109 Main Street.
Memorial contributions in Joe's memory may be made to an animal shelter or SPCA or Humane Society of one's choice, in lieu of flowers.
