Donald Bymas Obituary

Donald Frank Byrnas of West Chester Donald Frank Byrnas passed away at his home in West Chester, PA on Wednesday, May 25, 2016 at the age of 57. Don is survived by his loving wife, Christine Ditz. He was the son of Shirley Pavek Byrnas of Schererville, IN and the late Otto Byrnas. Also surviving are his brother Thomas Byrnas (Sue) of Brighton, CO, several nieces and nephews and his dog Schautzie. Don was a graduate of Kansas State University and worked as a Senior Mechanical Engineer at DEDC, LLC in Newark, DE. He was an avid KSU Wildcats fan, rarely missing a football or basketball game. He enjoyed the outdoors whether it be from his backyard, visiting national parks or traveling the world. Honoring Don’s wishes, there will be no public visitation. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to The V Foundation for Cancer Research, 14600 Weston Parkway, Cary, NC 27513 (www.jimmyv.org), or the National Park Foundation, 1110 Vermont Avenue, NW, Suite 200, Washington DC 20005 (www.nationalparks.org).
