I am so sad to learn of your mom's death...because I had no idea of any health issues other than age. The last time I spoke to her was when she told me about Helen Burch's move. All I know is that no matter what, she always wore her beautiful smile. She always saw the bright side and never mentioned a negative thought to me. We have had so many great times together and been on so many trips...she was one of my most faithful "Travel With Carole" members. Helen didn't mind repeating trips because she just enjoyed getting out and being with people. Nor did she mind sitting on the motorcoach with Helen if her body was tired... and even that did not cause the smile to go away. I knew better than to call her early because she went to church every morning. She earned my respect and taught me how to live a long and happy life. You get up each morning, thank God for another day, go out and smell the roses and show everyone a beautiful smile.
