Giuliani Simone "Sam" Giuliani, passed away surrounded by loved ones on January 9, 2017. Son of Raffaele and Giuseppina, born August 24, 1935 in Introdacqua, Italy. Preceded in death by his loving wife Frances T. Giuliani, sister and brother-in-law Iola and Tony Mampieri and brother and sister-in-law Tonino and Candida Giuliani. Survived by daughter, Josephine (Jim) Stewart; son, Anthony Giuliani, and son, Robert (Tara) Giuliani; loving grandchildren, Julianna (Ryan) Irwin, Justina, Massimo, Simone, Maria, Elia and Enzo; sister-in-law, Elizabeth and Pasquale Vaccari; and brother-in-law, Dan and Dixie Stefanelli; and his very loving nieces and nephews. A long time home builder and contractor, he took pride in all of his construction projects and was founder of Antonio's Pizzeria where he loved his employees and customers. He was known for being a loving father, his passion for playing soccer and later serving many years as head coach at Westerville North and Reynoldsburg and his golf game. A long time member of the AIGA and Riviera C.C. He served in the U.S. Army. He was a long time member of St. John the Baptist and St. Matthias Churches. Family will receive guests at THE JOHN QUINT TREBONI FUNERAL HOME, 1177 West Fifth Avenue, Columbus, on Friday, January 13, 2017 from 4-8 p.m. A funeral Mass will be held at the Resurrection Cemetery Chapel, 9571 N. High St., Lewis Center, on Saturday, January 14, 2017 at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Association Central Ohio, 1379 Dublin Rd., Columbus (43215). The family thanks the staff at Country View of Sunbury and Bella Care Hospice for their love and care. Condolences may be sent via www.johnquint.com.

Josie, Anthony and Robert,
Words fail me. Sam was a mentor and a friend to me and he was one of the most influential people in my life. I will always remember how much he truly cared for those of us lucky enough to be a small part of his life. My deepest condolences to you and your families.
