Ronald O. Day

Ronald O. Day, 83, of Memphis, TN passed away on February 12, 2017. Originally from Gloucester MA, he was born December 19, 1933 to Russell and Edith Day. He came to Memphis in 1956 after serving in the Air Force in Korea. He was Vice President of Security Title Company, and retired in 1997. Ron was a member of Bartlett United Methodist Church, taught a Healing Hearts & Grief recovery seminar at Frayser Senior Citizens Center of which he was also a member. He also had memberships at The Lewis Senior center and an active volunteer for Adventa Hospice for the last years. Ronald is survived by his wife Mary P. Day, his son Dr. Russell P. Day of Chicago ; grandson Trent Day; granddaughter Marena Day; and step-son David Thorton.
Family will receive friends from 12 noon until service time at 1 p.m. at Bartlett United Methodist Church on Friday, February 17. Committal will take place in Elmwood Cemetery.
Roller Family Funeral Home has charge of service 3651 Austin peay, Memphis, TN 38128. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Bartlett United Methodist Church.

You will be greatly missed by your community. I had the pleasure of knowing you first through your son and then again through your passion of helping others through their time of grief and loss.
