FARMERS VALLEY - Kimberly Ann Sweeley Gore, 51, of Bordell Road, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday (April 15, 2017) at the ACMH Hospital in Kittanning.
Born Sept. 6, 1965 in Olean, N.Y., she was a daughter of Albert and Nellie Shelley Sweeley.
Kimberly was a graduate of Smethport High School and had attended Edinboro University. She was a lifelong resident of McKean County.
Kimberly's passion and primary employment during her life was serving as an emergency medical technician. She had worked for and was very active with many of the fire departments and ambulance crews in the local area. In addition to being active with emergency services she had previously been employed by several local area businesses and had most recently been employed by West Haven Manor in Apollo.
Kim was a member of the Grace Chapel Fellowship Church. She liked to cook and loved animals and music.
Surviving are two brothers, Albert "Joe" (Jackie) Sweeley Jr. of Hurricane, W.Va., and David (Laura) Sweeley of Cambridge Springs; two sisters, Virginia "Ginny" Grice of Erie, Mary Burkett of Bradford and a half-sister, Charlotte Blagg of Amarillo, Texas; as well as several nieces and nephews, two aunts and many cousins. Also surviving is her adoptive aunt, Theresa "Tricky" Ishman of Cyclone.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Patricia Cline in 2008; and her niece, Dr. Jody Nuzzo in 2008.
Friends may call Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Frame Funeral Home, Eldred, where funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday. Burial will follow in Rixford Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to a Humane Society or a local area fire department of the donor's choice.
