BARBER, DOROTHY MAY (JOHNSON)
84, of Aylett, Virginia, formerly of Westerly and Warwick, died October 31, 2018 at the Discovery Senior Living in Richmond, VA. She was the beloved wife of the late Adelbert W. Barber.
Born in Warwick, she was a daughter of the late Frank C. and Dorothy May (Morin) Johnson.
She was employed as a Bus Driver for the Westerly School Department. Dorothy was an avid quilter and a member of the Quilters Guild. She was also a Communicant of Christ Episcopal Church in Westerly.
Dorothy is survived by her loving daughter: Melissa Pugh (Gregory) of Aylett, VA; three siblings: Raymond and Kenneth Johnson and Barbara Cote; and two grandchildren: Reghan and Shane Pugh.
Her Funeral Service will be held on Friday, November 9, 2018 at 10 AM in THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Ave., Warwick. Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 4 PM – 7 PM. Burial will take place in All Saints Cemetery,Warwick.
