Roy S. Larsen, 82, of Mt. Bethel, PA, passed away on Wednesday, March 25, 2020, at his residence.
Roy was born in Brooklyn, NY, on Oct. 17, 1937, a son of the late Birger and Bianca (Mindrabo) Larsen.
He was the husband of Janice E. (Wagner) Larsen. They celebrated their 57th wedding anniversary last September.
Roy was employed as a baker at Hahn's Bakery in Succasunna, NJ, until retiring in 2006. Roy enjoyed gardening, reading, coin collecting, and bird watching. He served in the U.S. Army.
In addition to his loving wife, Janice, Roy is survived by a daughter, Dawn Niper, wife of John; son, Roy J. Larsen; and daughter Jennifer Larsen-Fernandez, wife of Mark; five grandchildren, Danielle Ruch, Matthew Niper, Jessica Everitt, and Maxwell and Samuel Fernandez, and four great-grandchildren.
Memorial services will be announced at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to Gaffney Parsons Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., "Village of Johnsonville," Bangor, PA. Online condolences may be offered at www.gaffneyparsons.com.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Lehigh Valley Hospice, 2024 Lehigh St., Allentown, PA 18103.
