Beverly Jane Hatfield Goodwin Glazier

Beverly Jane Hatfield Goodwin Glazier at age 89 she finished writing her life story. On Tuesday October 5, 2020 at 8:35 PM Beverly came out from the shadow of darkness that was her earthly body and through the door to reach for the eternal light. Beverly resided at Reeder Farms in Forks Township cared for by her daughter Naydene D. Porter-Reeder.
Beverly Jane Hatfield was given the gift of life by her parents Claude R (April 2, 1973) and Mable (Wood) Hatfield (September 21, 1987) on June 22, 1931 in Johnson City, New York. They brought her home to 124 Moeller Street Binghamton where she would grow up with her siblings a brother James Fredrick (April 24, 1934) and two sisters; Norma Hendler (Harold E. October 31, 2017) of Las Vegas, Nevada, and Marie Burns of Binghamton.
Growing up Beverly would win an Honorable Mention in a 1935 National Photograph Contest with a photo submitted by Sisson Bros-Weldon Co. She would graduate from Binghamton North High School in 1949. During her time in high school she was a member of: "Frill and Frown" Dramatic Club, Honor Society, Hostess Committee and achieve Perfect Attendance for her attendance during her education. She received her degree from Penn State University.
In 1952 Beverly would become the bride of Laurence S. Goodwin (December 22, 1989). The couple would welcome a baby boy Deane Patrick Goodwin in 1953 (January 16, 2015) of Oil City, Portage Township, Cambria, Pennsylvania.
In 1964 Beverly would become the bide of John Glazier Jr. (June 14, 2005). Later that year they would welcome the birth of a daughter Naydene Dawn Glazier Porter-Reeder of Forks Township where she and her husband Russell J. Reeder reside at Reeder Farms. Grandchildren: Jacqueline Christine Asencio (Miguel) and Syrus Dale Porter. Great-grandchildren Miguel Esteban Asencio Jr.
At age 73 Beverly would retire after employment at Metropolitan Life Insurance in both Binghamton, New York and Easton, PA District Offices, M & M's Candies Hackettstown New Jersey as a Buyer, Accounting Dept of Laneco and Teller for Lafayette Ambassador Bank.
Beverly was Elected to the Rush Henrietta School Board, Monroe County NY School Board Association and New York State School Board Association.
Her high school passions would follow her throughout her life. She gave of her time as a volunteer at the State Theater of Easton, Arts Quest at Muskiest and Christkindlmarkt. She wanted everyone to Vote and served as Minority Inspector Eastern District Palmer Township Election Board Northampton County.
Beverly was a long-standing member of Epworth United Methodist Church serving as Recording Finances Secretary, Treasure of United Methodist Women and as a Secret Sister.

So very sorry to hear of the passing of Beverly. As an employee of ArtsQuest, I had the pleasure of working with Beverly as she was the volunteer who gave of her time driving the van for the volunteers. She was a delight and always had a smile.
