age 95 of Avon Lake passed away June 8, 2021. Beloved husband of the late June (nee Bemes); loving father of Sandra Truax; dear brother of Wayne Truax and Carleen Fritz; cherished uncle of many. Don was a U.S. Army Veteran serving in World War II. He was a car enthusiast, a collector of old radios and a dog lover. He enjoyed boating and was a former member of the Edgewater Yacht Club. Private family services, Celebration of Life will be announced later.
