I wish to offer sympathy to Mike and all the family. I knew Peggy when we were both active in ministry with the Archdiocese of Indianapolis. Peggy followed me in the job that I had had for ten years at the Office of Catholic Education. Her presence was always a gift--her ever-ready smile and gentle way of being brought joy and calm to those around her. I wish to offer special sympathy to her mother, Barbara. It's always difficult for a parent to have to bury a child, no matter what the age. And, a special greeting of sympathy to Peggy's youngest sibling, Susan, whom I taught in first grade at St. Pius X School in Indianapolis. I want you all to know that I am holding you close in prayer these days. May you feel the comfort of Our Lord Jesus Christ who reaches out and touches you through friends and those who care.

Please accept my condolences at Peggy's passing. I was friends with she and Mike in high school. I knew right from the start that they would be married forever. She was such a kind, generous person with a big heart. God bless you Mike and your family.
