Ann,
Sorry for your loss. Steve was a good friend to me at Arizona State University. He was also in my high school class in Ajo. I can't believe he is gone. He always had a funny way of making a point when an issue concerned him.

I had the great good fortune to work with Steve at St. Joe's in the O.R. He was one of the group that were more like family than just work friends. He's been to my home and I've been to his. I was able to speak to him just a few days before he died when he called me at work to say his office was moving to the same site as mine and maybe we could get together. Unfortunately that never came to pass. It is a real loss felt by more people than you will ever know. Please know I am grateful for the opportunity to have know and worked with and called friend this man known as Steve Davis. My thoughts and prayers go out to you.

Dear Ann and Dennis,

Steve was a good friend in high school and we were able to share a couple of years at Arizona State University.

Steve definitely new how to tell great jokes and his sense of humor always lifted the room he was in.

I'm saddened that I wasn't able to connect with him one more time.

We'll miss him! Our prayers are with you!

Steve was a good friend. With our hectic schedules we'd only see each other once in a great while. But I've always hoped for a more relaxed time of life and spending more time with old friends. I can't believe I'll never see him again on this earth.

Ann,

Just heard recently of the passing of Steve from a friend in elementary school. I am so saddened to hear this. Even though I haven't seen him since high school, I still have the vivid memory of his special personality since our days in catholic school in Ajo. Many special friendships were formed in that little school.

From reading the previous entries, he must have turned out to be a successful, caring person.

My deepest sympathy to you, your family, and the friends he left behind.

With my deepest prayers.

I had the priviledge of working with Steve for the short time I worked at Mercy Care. He was a caring and fun person who spent time to recognize my contributions. I loved the stories about his growing up in Ajo, his parents and aunt and uncle and his mom's dog. To this day, whenever I see or read something about the royal family in England, I think about Steve and wonder what his opinion on that topic is. I am glad that I had the opportunity to know him.

We did not know Steve very well. We did know his father Charlie and mother Ann. From reading the other entries in this Guest Book, Steve must have inherited the qualities of love and strength that we experienced as neighbors to Charlie and Ann and later Ann. Our life has been brightened by our knowing the Davis family.

Stephen used his God-given talents to make a difference in his world. He may have had a short time on earth but he used it wisely.

Ann & Dennis, Steve was one of the most caring people I've met on my journey, he had a wonderful if not crazy sense of humor, he was caring and never thought about what he could get in exchange for the times he shared with others. When I was home from work because of an injury and I had just inherited 3 grandchildren, he brought me food, he brought something for the kids.I had the privilege of attending church with him at times over the last 16 years. He loved his involvement with his church. I'm going to miss him terribly and my comfort is knowing that he's elbowing God right now and telling God "she can do it" I loved to tease him about his cat who adopted him, I told him cats only adopt loving people. Thanks for sharing him with the rest of us.God Bless, Marge
