As a cousin of Jimmy I will always cherish the memories of the lake. In growing up and having him as a cousin there are so many memories that it is hard to share them all.
I will cherish the most how he would look after my brother especially when we were at the lake and make sure he had a good time.
God Bless you. Love, Terry Jo.

I worked for Jim when he was affiliated with Hastings & Hastings from 1999 through 2001. I met him through an attorney who used to be employed with Hastings & Hastings. I was told that Jim needed someone to work for him part-time and once I met him, I knew I wanted to work for him. He was a kind, generous, fun loving man. I remember when I would come into work, we would always chat about how our night/weekend was. He genuinly cared about what was going on in my life because that
was the kind of person he was. My husband and I got together several
times with him socially and we always enjoyed his company so very much. We had the opportunity to to meet Sharon and attend a Spring training baseball game with her and Jim several years ago. She was a joy to be around which is why I'm sure Jim loved her. I hadn't spoken to Jim in several years, but we still exchanged Christmas cards. I had been
thinking about him a lot in recent days. I will miss him very much. He, his family and Sharon will be in our prayers.

I remember Jim when I first started working at American Family Insurance in 1981. There were only a few attorneys here at the time. I enjoyed working with him.
I send my condolences to the family.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Jim was working on an accident case for me. Him and I talked on several occasions. Even thought I never met him face to face he seemed to be so down to earth and just a "nice guy". He seemed so personable...he asked how many childen I had (if any) I told him I had one daughter (15mo old) and he mentioned he had grand children and how great they were. He sounded like he really cherished and enjoyed them. Him and I talked the Thursday before Christmas and were laughing about how Christmas was for kids (little ones)and how expensive things were these days. It really made me feel good and confident that I had a Great Attorney and how I made a new friend as well. He will be greatly missed. My thoughts and prayers are with you. God Bless
