Taylora
I have been away from Atlanta for the past 6 yrs and while at home today, I saw a woman on TV tear ridden. Never in my wildest dreams would I have thought to be looking at you. My dearest Taylora, how very sorry I am to hear of your loss. There are no words to express the loss you are experiencing, however I understand. Please know that in your struggles, God will find a way to bring you comfort and allow your heart to forgive the young man who shortened Adair's life. Please know you are in my thoughts, my prayers and ask that you continue to look up for strength. May God continue to be with you and your family. Please keep in touch!
God's speed always (your old Drug Emporium friend, Lisa)

I am still struggling with the fact that you are gone. Sometimes I just sit and cry because I REALLY miss you. You always put a smile on my face and although you are not here physically I know that you're watching over me. It's been almost 7 months since you've been gone but it feels like it just happened yesterday. I love and truly miss you Adair. Rest in Paradise.

To Ashley and ur family:
We were best friends in midle school. That Fantastic Four-me, u, Charvon, and Tash. We had sleepovers at ur house and "I" of course would flirt with Adair and tell him "ur too young". I should have kept in touch with ya'll better than I did when I moved away. i just found out about Adair today. Its been almost 2 months, I am so shocked and don't know what to say. But do know that my prayers are with you all and you know if you ever need anything you can call me

Life is so cruel, those we love leav to soon. But in the end we must remember that Jesus gave his son so that we may have ever lasting life. Although it hurts to suffer such a loss remember that he understands and he can help heal the pain. R.I.P Adair, I did not know you but through Christ we are brother.

Family,
I hurt with you as you mourn Adair's cruel and senseless leaving. I pray for all of you. I know that this is past difficult and that language does not hold words that can possibly convey what you are feeling. I do know. Though I did not have the good fortune to know my young cousin, his leaving takes a piece of me. I can tell by all that I have read about him that he was a true gift to be treasured. He came from good stock. Take comfort in knowing that he was a gift to many and know that LOVE NEVER DIES.

Russell:
The fruit of Fruit had to be sweet.
You gave your son work that he loved. You made deposits in your memory bank and in the days ahead you will make frequent withdrawls.

Taylora though we've never met, I know a part of you. I know the part that is aching. My only child was murdered also. GOD is the only one who will see you through. He can. He will. Trust Him to do what only He can do.

Family, ........there's nothing like family. Adair was blessed by you all and you by him.

Much Love.

Your Cousin in Wisconsin,

Taylora, I said a prayer for you today. I hope you didn't mind. I asked the lord to comfort you and put yours tears behind. I prayed for peace and mercy, too, to help you through each day, And for his loving guidance as he leads you on your way. You need not walk this path alone so I prayed he'd hold your hand, and offer you some guidance in a way you'll understand. I asked him for little miracles and to bless you every day. Keep searching for the rainbows and let him light your way.

The Smoke Rise Elementary faculty and staff send our condolences to Ashley and the Freeman family. I remember Adair as a friendly, mannerable and respectful young man. We will keep your family in prayer during this diffcult time.

To the family:

There are really no words to express how much it hurts to lose a family member, but to me a friend. My heart goes out to your family. Hollywood (Adair) was someone who will truly be missed. I only met him a few times, but in the time that I sat around him, I understood why his friends liked him as a person. Hollywood is gone, but he will NEVER be forgotten. My prayers go out to the Freeman family.

January 27, 2009

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."

It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man.

God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.

When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.

I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.

There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.

If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.

So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.

And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

Hey there cousin. I know we didn't know each other well and I wish I had more of a relationship with you. For the first time in a long time in my life a piece of me has felt lost and empty. We have lost a great person. This shows me how much family is important to us. It shouldn't take a tragedy such as this to bring us all together but it serves a major purpose. Please look down on us and know that you have been a blessing in the lives of all whom you touch. I fault myself that Im not more involved with my family and Im sure that everyone else can vouche for the same. As reality sets in I will hold you close to my heart as I move foward. Life is too short and all the complaining and ignorance we in the mortal life speak of can't compare when it comes to a loss of a life. I will now take a different approach on life because of this and I ask of one thing from you. I ask of you to help me see what I cannot. I ask of you to be that Angel of our family which brings of all closer and what guides us to peace, love, and happiness. We will miss you!
