I was shocked and saddened to hear just today that my dear friends husband Richard Rothfritz suddenly left us. I knew Richard for over forty years. He was like a big brother to me. I met him when I was only 16 the same time Linda met him. Linda 'Green' Rothfritz is my best friend and always will be. I will always be here for you. We have shared so much together over the years. I remember in 1964 when Richard got the brand new 1964 Yellow & Black GTO and he came by that night and took Linda (his girlfriend at the time)and I for a ride. Little GTO was a popular song at the time. :O) ..Oh, the memories of way back then. I could go on and on with so many memories of days gone by. What a wonderful person he was ! Those days will never be forgotton. Richard will always be remembered by me for his quiet manner and kindness. Linda, God Bless you, Ellen and Jason as you continue on down the road of life and know he is waiting for you and one day you will all be together again.

Love always, Mary Anne & Tom

I’ve never seen Richard without a smile on his face. He didn’t make a lot of noise but you knew he was there. He was quite and quiet spoken. When he did speak he knew what he was talking about. Every now and then the guys would strike up a topic just before it was time for him to leave for the day. Family came first. Out the door he went! He was truly a dedicated family man with good values. I extend my deepest sympathies to his entire family. He was part of our family too. All of us, at the AJC, will miss him.
