I learned of Rudy's passing Saturday; however, I was unable to attend his service. I would have attended to honor a great man and a man my deceased husband, J.C. thought so much of.
Nell, my prayers are with you and your family. I have been where you are and there is very little comfort during this time. Just breathe and take each day moment by moment.

Nell, I just found out about Rudy today(Monday). I am truly sorry for your loss. He was such a true gentlemen and professed all the Boy Scout traits. I remember my days at 97 and 01 Jamboree and coming from the medical unit to visit "the fishing people." What fun we had back then. Those were the days. I am sure he is casting his line up there with all the others....

Rudy was a co-worker and friend at the S.C. Department of Revenue. We had many conversations together through the years. His love for all his family and the scouts was always evident. He will be missed.

I am so sorry for your loss. Rudy came in the store just about everyday where I worked. He always has a smile on his face and something nice to say. I made sure he never bought the sweet stuff. He became a friend over the years and even came by our sign shop to keep in touch (after the store where I worked was sold.) He will be greatly missed.
