Joan McNabb Obituary

AUBURN < Joan M. Anthony McNabb, 72, of Auburn, died Friday, Sept. 5, 2008, at home with her loving family at her side. Born in Auburn, she was a lifelong resident of Aurelius. She was a member of the Lakeview Chapter of the Order of the Easter Star. Joan was predeceased by her parents, Leo Anthony and Thelma Huff Anthony-Kidd; and her future son-in-law, Paul (Red) Hill. Joan is survived by Claude, her husband of 54 years; daughters Susan (Gerald) Scouten and Beverly McNabb, of Auburn, and Paula McNabb-Jorgensen (Roger), of Weedsport; four grandchildren, Christopher (Sara Korrigan) and Kimberly Scouten, of Auburn, and Dylan and Austin Jorgensen, of Weedsport; and one great-granddaughter, Arica Killian, of Auburn. She also leaves behind her beloved dog, Cleo. At Joan"s request, there will be no calling hours or funeral services. Contributions may be made to the Hospice of the Finger Lakes, Cayuga Fire Department or the Aurelius Fire Department.
