Warm Summer Sun

Warm summer sun,
Shine kindly here,
Warm southern wind,
Blow softly here.
Green sod above,
Lie light, lie light.
Good night, dear heart,
Good night, good night.

Jim and family;
Sorry to hear about your father, but we all know he lived a full life! I do remember that he always wanted to know what trouble we were in and let us know he wasn't happy about it.

I'm sorry to read of Doc's passing. I can remember when you and Doc moved into Gramp Forbes house. We were lucky kids to always have good neighbors. I'll keep you and your family in my thoughts and prayers.

To Elliott and the Lauderdale family

I know your Dad will be greatly missed. He was highly thought of around the community. I remember him growing up in our small town. And I still remember the plane ride he took us on Elliott!

Take care

Betty and Family,
When I think of Doc I remember a true gentleman. Always even tempered, always smiling with a twinkle in his eye. A man who loved his family and friends and who was much loved in return. Doc gave his knowledge and energy to the community with compassion. He touched many peoples' lives in very positive ways and will be greatly missed. Lucky for all of us, there are many of you to carry on his legacy. Betty, I always thought that you and Doc made a wonderful couple. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

To All of My Lauderdale Friends and Family -

Please accept my most sincere condolences on your father's/husband's death.

As for me, my life would not have been the same if it weren't for the influence and great friendships shared with many Lauderdales - Mary, Elliott, Sue, Jim - and, of course, I remember many "kitchen table" talks with Doc, Betty and Grandmother.

My love to you all - I will be in touch.

To the entire Lauderdale family,
We have known Doc for several years. As a former Auburn Realtor, Doc did several apprasials for me on houses that I sold. He also appraised my own house. My wife Josephine worked with Doc at Auburn Savings Bank. Our deepest sympathy go out to all of you. Doc will be remembered in our thoughts and prayers. He was a wonderful man and will surely be missed.

Hi Lauderdale family-

My 86 year old mother, Lois Campbell, joins me in sending our sympathy to you.

Our dad, Duncan Campbell, died in '93 and also came from Geneseo. I remember your grandmother "Jenk" when she lived across the street from us in Aurora.

I have so many happy memories of sleepovers and fun times with Mary and Sue. I know we still spent some time together after you moved to your home on Main Street in Union Springs.

I send you all good wishes from my family. Dorinda teaches outside Chicago, Peter delivers mail in Webster, NY and I'm a substitute teacher in Rochester, NY.
