Dorothy Klein Obituary

AUBURN < Mrs. Dorothy B. Klein, 92, of Auburn, passed away Friday, Oct. 10, 2008, at the Finger Lakes Home for Living. Born in Auburn, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Ada Bryant. Before becoming a housewife, Dorothy worked as a secretary for International Harvester. She was a member of the Eastern Star and SS. Peter and John Episcopal Church. Earlier in life, Dorothy enjoyed volunteering for the Brownies and Girl Scouts as a troop leader. She will always be remembered by her family as a loving wife and mother. She is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Vincent Klein; two daughters, Heather (fiance Jack Wrobel) Klein, of Niles, Beth Klein, of Phoenix, Ariz.; nephews, Terry (Patricia) Lee, Tom (Cheryl) Lee, Joe (Sheila) Sherman; nieces, Betsy (Richard) Rosenblum, Rita (Harvey) Epstein and Amy (Jimmy) Lilly. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sister, Grace Lee. Visiting hours will be 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, Oct. 13 at the Langham Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 14 at SS Peter and John Episcopal Church. Burial will be at Fort Hill Cemetery immediately following the service. Those wishing to make contributions may do so to the Cayuga Community College Foundation or SS Peter and John Episcopal Church in Dorothy"s name. I would just like to say that Dot will be sadly missed by all of us at the FLCL. She was a wonderful woman.Dot was very unique in the fact that GOD granted her many lives,despite what others may have thought. I will sadly miss her. I worked with Dorothy for a very short time at FLCL, and i enjoyed everyday that i got to work with her and to spend time getting to know her as well. The last time i got to see her was on 4c when she was a patient there, and it made my day being able to see and help her again, i am so sorry for your loss, she was a beautiful woman and i was blessed to being able to meet her!
