We know Rich and Barbara From their visits to New Smyrna Beach each Winter for many years. We live at Seaward Condo where they stayed. We will miss Rich, he had a great sence of humor. We enjoyed our parties, our competitions and our conversations. He will be remembered for a long time.

To Rich's family,
My name is Laurie O'Connor and I came to know Rich when he and Joe Delaney used to come into the Holiday Inn Pub once in awhile. Turns out to be a very small world, Rich was one of the people that stood up with my in-laws (Virginia and James) at their wedding. Joe worked with my husband Patrick at the NYS Canal. Rich told me stories of my in-laws and I always smiled to see Rich and Joe come into the Pub. I am so sorry for your loss. I lost Patrick a little over a year ago and I miss him terribly but take comfort knowing that you will see Rich again. This time on earth is but a blink of an eye compared to joys of heaven for an eternity.
Love,
Laurie

Barbara and family: I was both shocked and sorry to read of Dick's passing. I considered him a friend and a confidant. I missed not working with him when I moved to Florida almost 20 years ago and I enjoyed the times we met for lunch or dinner when the two of you retired and spent some winter time each year in New Smyrna Beach. I will continue to enjoy his friendship but now through prayers to our Holy Mother. Please know that the Heaven we all believe in just became an even better place when graced by his presence. Miss him, but know that he is safe and well cared for in Her arms.
