Donald Messmore Obituary

Passed away peacefully in his home in East Falmouth, on January 22, 2008 after a lengthy illness. He was 82. He was the beloved husband of Patricia (O'Neil) Messmore for 53 years. Survived by his daughters Virginia (Ginny) Messmore of Westwood and Kathleen (Kathy) Messmore of Quincy, Brother William Messmore of McAllen, TX and 17 nieces and nephews. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 AM, on Monday, January 28, 2008 at St. Anthony's Church, 167 East Falmouth Hwy, E. Falmouth followed by a military interment at the VA National Cemetery, Bourne. Guests are asked not to wear fragrances as family members are chemically sensitive. Memorial donations in lieu of flowers may be sent to St. Anthony's Parish, c/o Fatima Hall Construction Project. Mr. Messmore,
Sir, I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served during WW II and for being a member of the Greatest Generation. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.
