My sympathy to the Hughes' family. Although I did not know Norwood, Jr., I did meet his father and we talked about the Hughes' genealogy. My mother and Norwood, Sr. were cousins.

I want to express my sympathy to the Hughes' family. My Grandmother was Martha Alta Hughes Parks whose daughter Dorothy was my mother. As a little girl growing up in Battle Creek I remember the fun we had on Norwood's father and mother's farm. I have tried to keep in touch with the Hughes' family thru Kay Hughes Whitmill.

I will always cherish my memories of the Hughes.

Presently I live in McLean, VA but I always return every year to Battle Creek and Marshall to see family and "walk down memory lane."

Cherish your memories and all your family good times.
