My Uncle Freddie's passing came as such a shock. He was one of my favorite uncles, all my uncles are really, but my Uncle Freddie was one of those family members who always lived in your thoughts, just the very mention of his name would make me smile wide. Planned family get-togethers took on a charge of excitement whenever word was Freddie was coming. We just saw him so rarely. When I was a little girl, he taught me how to blow my first bubblegum bubble and how to whistle. I thought he was the coolest, everything he did had style and flavor, just naturally. I loved my Uncle Freddie; I still do. I missed him before he was evern gone.
