Sharon Leann Loyd Battle Creek Sharon Leann Loyd, 52, of Battle Creek, died Saturday morning, August 16, 2008. She was born in Battle Creek on October 27, 1955, the daughter of Everett L. and Shirley A. (Pickett) Ehle and graduated from Battle Creek Central High School in 1974. Sharon married Robert A. "Bob" Loyd in Battle Creek on July 9, 1988; he survives. She is also survived by her daughter, Shannon Eglen of Battle Creek; her son, John (Rebecca) Loyd of Battle Creek and their 3 children, Taylor, Gabrielle and Johnathon; her mother, Shirley Brooks; her brothers and sisters, Joyce (Richard) Kunz, Everett (Linda) Ehle, Lori (Tim) Stebleton and Michael Brooks; special family friends, David and Judy Goff; 2 Godsons, Brian and Zachary Goff; and several nieces and nephews. Sharon was preceded in death by her father, Everett Ehle in 1969 and a sister, Patricia Stoudt in 1991. At the request of the family, they will receive friends 2:00 4:00 and 6:00 8:00 p.m. today at the Farley-Estes & Dowdle Funeral Home. Funeral services to celebrate Sharon's life will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 20, 2008 at the funeral home with Gordon Pippin, Minister of Central Christian Church, officiating.
