Phyllis Krieger Obituary

Phyllis Ann Krieger Fredericksburg, VA Phyllis Ann (Ehrenberg) Krieger, 75, of Fredericksburg, VA, formerly of St. Joseph, MI, Battle Creek, MI and Little Rock, AR, passed away on Wednesday, August 20, 2008, at Aarondale Assisted Living Community. Viewing will be Tuesday, August 26th, 7-9 p.m. at Mullins & Thompson Funeral Home, Fredericksburg, VA. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 27th, 9:30 a.m. at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Fredericksburg, VA with the Rev. Robert Koehler officiating. Interment will follow at Quantico National Cemetery, Triangle, VA. Phyllis was born on July 4, 1933 in Benton Harbor, MI, the daughter of the late Violet (Albert) Hildebrand and Adam Ehrenberg. Phyllis was a former member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Battle Creek, MI and Christ Lutheran Church in Little Rock, AR and a current member of Redeemer Lutheran Church in Fredericksburg, VA. Phyllis was preceded in death by her husband, Edward "Bud" Krieger, Jr. in January 2008. Survivors include her two children: Edward "Randy" Krieger of Tokyo, Japan and Beth (Edward) Bernat of Fairfax, VA; two granddaughters, Danielle and Samantha Bernat; two brothers-in-law, LeRoy (Lois) Krieger of White Cloud and Darwin (Peg) Krieger of Bridgman, MI; five sisters-in-law, Betty Van Hellen and Dorothea Crocker, both of Bridgman, MI, Barbara (Carl) Franzon of Sawyer, MI and Delores (Skip) Davis of Stevensville, MI, C. Jane Krieger of St. Joseph, MI; and numerous nieces and nephews. Memorial contributions may be made to the Bridgman American Legion Post 0331, 4241 Legion St., Bridgman, MI 49106.
