Estherellen Emswiler Obituary

Estherellen Emswiler Battle Creek Estherellen Emswiler, 60, of Battle Creek, lost her battle with cancer at home on Monday, August 25, 2008. She was born July 4, 1948, in Olivet, to Lyle and Fay (Edwards) Siegrist. Esther was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was married to Ronald A. Emswiler in Battle Creek on August 19, 1972. He survives her. She was employed by State Farm Insurance of Marshall for 15 years and later by Wal-Mart as a UPC clerk and community fundraiser for 14 years. Esther enjoyed camping, fishing, and gardening. She was preceded in death by her mother and stepfather. Esther is survived by her husband and two sons, Christopher (Chrisheila) of Coldwater and Kevin (Shannon) of Paisley, FL. She also leaves 9 grandchildren, two sisters, 1 brother, and 8 stepbrothers and sisters. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 2, 2008 at Bedford Bible Church. Memorial contributions may be given to Good Samaritan Hospice Care. Arrangements are by Royal Funeral Home.
