Jeanette Judd Obituary

Jeanette M. Judd Marshall Jeanette M. Judd, 77, of Marshall, died at Lifespan Good Samaritan Hospice Care Residence on Saturday, September 13, 2008. She was born in Battle Creek to Stanley, Sr. and Mildred (Marsh) Tuttle on October 7, 1930. She was a 1949 graduate of Battle Creek Central High School. Most of her life she spent as a dedicated loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She was also employed at 20th Century Life Insurance Company; at Oliver's in the payroll department for 10 years; for Wilma A. Rorich, M.D.; and at Montgomery Ward's. Jeanette Martha Tuttle was united in marriage to Larry S. Judd at the First Congregational Church in Battle Creek on November 21, 1953. Surviving are Larry, her husband of 54+ years; children, Laurie (Paul) Ressler, Craig (Denise) Judd and Christopher (Christine) Judd, all of Battle Creek, and Stacey Visockis of Grand Rapids; 12 grandchildren, Jeremy Smith, Jessica Judd, Megan Ressler, Nicholas Judd, Emily Judd, Alex Judd, Joseph Judd, Jacob Visockis, Sarah Ressler, Katelyn Visockis, Alyssa Visockis and Tori Visockis; two brothers, Theodore (Judi) Tuttle of Battle Creek and James (Lillian) Tuttle of Sun City, FL; and one sister, Carol Delaney of State College, PA. Jeanette was a life member of the Leila Hospital Auxiliary. She was an avid reader, enjoyed crafts and golfing, and she loved spending time and gently caring for her family. At the request of the family, friends may call after 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Farley-Estes & Dowdle Funeral Home, where they will be received 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 p.m. Funeral services to celebrate Jeanette's life will be officiated by Tom Ott at the funeral home 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 17, 2008. Interment will follow at Oakridge Cemetery, Marshall, MI. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions to Lifespan Good Samaritan Hospice Care Residence or the Battle Creek Health System Hospital Auxiliary.
