Donald Grundemann Obituary

Donald W. Grundemann Concord Donald W. Grundemann, 74, of Concord, passed away on Monday, September 15, 2008 at his home. He was born November 7, 1933 in Albion to Arthur and Irene (Broxholm) Grundemann. Donald was self-employed as a farmer for all of his life. He was a member of SheridanAlbion Township Fire Board, the Farm Bureau, South Albion Beef Club and South Albion 4-H. He was also a member of Albion Township's Tax Board of Review. On February 19, 2000 Donald married Roberta Green in Homer, and she survives. Donald enjoyed genealogy and hunting, but more than anything, he enjoyed his family. In addition to his wife, survivors include (1) daughter, Cynthia Grundemann of Northville; (3) sons, Jon (Kathy) Grundemann of Albion, Karl Grundemann of Saline, and Eric Grundemann of Okemos; (1) brother, Stanley Grundeman of Concord; and (6) grandchildren, Jacob, Katie, Wesley, Jack, Henry and Catherine. He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, September 18, 2008 at J. Kevin Tidd Funeral Home, 811 Finley Drive, Albion, with the Rev. Tim Marvil officiating. Interment will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery in Concord. Visitation will be Wednesday, September 17 from 2 4 and 6 8 p.m. Memorials are suggested to the 4-H Foundation, First Presbyterian Church in Homer and Great Lakes Hospice. www.kevintidd funeralhome.com
