I personally didn't know Mr. Bowers but I have heard a lot about him from his granddaughter and what a wonderful man he was. I know she has a lot of fond memories about him and I know he was dearly loved by all.

Hi my name is Sally MacPhee(Newman) and grew up next to Mr. Bower on Summer St.. I remember how he used to love working on his lawn and how nice he kept it. I remember as a child my sister Stacy and I would go over and help him pick up his leaves. He was always such a nice man to us, even when we'd color rocks and try to sell them he and Mrs. Bower would always buy one. Very good memories so I hope his family will appreciate these.
