Jean Harriet Pattullo Jean Harriet Pattullo, 90, of Battle Creek, died September 16, 2008 at Calhoun County Medical Care Facility. She was born August 7, 1918 in Barnesville, Colorado the daughter of Ernest H. and Mildred (Howard) Fralick, but moved to Greeley, CO as a child where she was educated. In 1938 she trained and registered as an X-ray technician in both diagnostic and therapeutic radiographic. Jean H. Fralick was united in marriage on May 1, 1941 to Andrew Pattullo in Lincoln, NE. He preceded her in death in 1996. She was also preceded in death by her parents, her brother, E. Howard Fralick M.D., and by an infant sister, Gail. She is survived by her two sons, Andrew (Drew) Pattullo, Douglas E. Pattullo, three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. In 1969 she graduated Cum-laude from K.C.C. with an associate's degree in Arts. She was a member of the First Congregational Church and sang in the Chancel Choir for years, and was past-president of the Mary Brewster Circle and the Women's Fellowship. Jean was also active for many years with the P.T.A., past President of the City Council, past President of the Volunteer Bureau and served on the Christmas Clearing Bureau, extremely active in the Battle Creek Civic Theatre for 25 years, was a "Daughter of the Colorado Pioneers," and also served as President of the Theatre Guild and Board of Directors. She received awards for "Best Supporting Actress," "Best Actress in a Minor Role" and the B.C. Enquirer's "George Award." In 1991, Governor John Engler appointed her to a two-year term to serve on the Michigan Council for the Arts and Culture. Jean co-produced a documentary about the Civic Theatre. She loved the stage, theatre, especially musicals; enjoyed swimming at the Y-Center and was an avid reader. She and her husband, Andrew traveled extensively in Europe as well as in both North and South America, and enjoying many cruises. Jean considered her family and her friends as a Blessing, enjoying their contacts, their visits. At the request of the family, no visitation is planned. Memorial services will be held 12:00 noon Friday, September 19, 2008 at First Congregational Church with Pastor Tom Ott officiating. Interment will be Augusta Cemetery next to her husband.
