Roberta Cagle Obituary

Roberta Marie "Grandma" Cagle West Palm Beach, FL Longtime resident of Battle Creek, MI, and currently of West Palm Beach, FL, passed away on September 19, 2008 at Palms West Hospital at the age of 76. Born in Battle Creek, MI, where she spent the first 75 years of her life, she spent the last year with family in the West Palm Beach area before passing away. Mrs. Cagle, who had a passion for cooking, worked in the public school system in Battle Creek, MI for 25 years in the Central High School cafeteria. She enjoyed crafts, sewing and spending time with her family. Mrs. Cagle was married for 57 years to the late Howard L. Cagle, who passed away on September 26, 2007. Mrs. Cagle is survived by her cherished five children, Steven and Marilyn Cagle of Battle Creek, MI, Sheryl Sipila of Dennis, MS, John and Melanie Cagle of Wellington, FL, Mike and Sandy Fink of Loxahatchee, FL, and Gregg and Joanne Harr of Royal Palm Beach, FL; one sister, Wilma Lykyk of Dawson, MN; one brother, Robert Evans of Davie, FL; 18 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Mrs. Cagle will be buried in Dennis, MS. Funeral arrangements will be handled by Deatons Funeral Home in Belmont, MS. In lieu of flowers, the family requests a gift be made to Disabled Veterans Assoc.

Roberta (Aunt Bert) was my Great Aunt. She was my Grandmother Lillian's sister. She also was my lunch lady at Battle Creek Central High School.
