Eleanor Hale Obituary

Eleanor L. Hale Albion Eleanor L. Hale, age 95, of Albion, passed away peacefully Friday, September 12, 2008 at the Laurels of Coldwater. She was born December 24, 1912 in Shelburn, Indiana to Gus and Ethyll (Grigsby) McCoskey. On November 21, 1936, she married A. R. Hale in Angola, Indiana. He preceded her in death in 1971. She was employed as a Quality Control Operator for Corning Glass, retiring in 1975. Eleanor liked playing bingo and going up north. She is survived by her daughter, Sydonna (John) Teinert of Homer; son, Allen (Toni) Hale of Cullman, AL; 4 grandchildren, Shelby Hale, Johnny (Teresa) Teinert, Adam (Angela) Chapman and Brian (Lisa) Chapman; 9 great-grandchildren, Samantha, Joshua, Alexander, Alyssha, DeAngelo, Amber, Bradley, Chris and Dannielle; and 4 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a sister, Joan Boehlke; and a daughter, Linda L. Chapman. A Graveside service will be held Friday, October 3 at 10:30 a.m. at Riverside Cemetery in Albion with the Rev. James Snyder officiating. There will be no visitation.
