Eleanor Hendrickson Obituary

Eleanor B. Hendrickson Bellevue Eleanor B. Hendrickson, 91, of Bellevue, died Saturday morning, September 27, 2008 at the Lifespan Good Samaritan Hospice Residence. She was born in Beloit, Wisconsin on January 2, 1917, the daughter of Ole and Emma (Ellingsen) Hagen. Eleanor married Joe D. Hendrickson in Bryan, Ohio on November 27, 1939; Joe preceded her in death on June 21, 1986. She is survived by her daughter, Bonnie Hendrickson of Battle Creek; 3 grandchildren, Jeffrey (Barbara) Koski of Illinois, Deborah (Tim) Culver of Climax, Brian (Terese) Koski of Ceresco; and 5 great-grandchildren. Eleanor was also preceded in death by a daughter, Jeanette Whiting on December 30, 1988; 3 brothers, Gilman, Ole and Einar Hagen and a sister, Inga Slaga. Eleanor was a true lover of nature and animals. She enjoyed traveling to the U.P., feeding the birds and deer, hunting, fishing and her dogs. Most of all, she loved to spend time with her family. At Eleanor's request, cremation has taken place and no services are being planned. Memorials made to the Arthritis Foundation or the Calhoun Area Humane Society would be appreciated.
