Evelyn L. Little

Evelyn L. Little Battle Creek Evelyn Lucille Little, 91, of Battle Creek, died October 3, 2008 at the Good Samaritan Hospice Residence. She was born September 15, 1917, the daughter of John and Olive (Arney) Polley in Brimson, Missouri. Evelyn received her Bachelor of Science degree from Western Michigan University and was a teacher at Oak Grove School near Lee Lake and at Sonoma School. Evelyn is survived by her son, Ron Little of Battle Creek; daughters, Evelyn (Tom) Rowe of Battle Creek and Joyce (Jim) Witt of Bedford, Virginia; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and one sister. She was a member of First Assembly of God Church and enjoyed the companionship of her dogs. Friends may call from 4:00 until 6:00 p.m. today at Shaw Funeral Home. Services will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 7, 2008 at Shaw Funeral Home with Pastor Robert Muirhead, First Assembly of God Church officiating. Interment, Memorial Park Cemetery.
