Ronald L. Kreger

Ronald L. Kreger Albion Ronald L. Kreger, 72, lifelong resident of Albion, passed away on Friday, October 10, 2008 at his home. He was born on August 22, 1936 to Herbert and Grace (McDowell) Kreger. Ron served our Country in the United States Navy during peace time. In 1956 he united with Lenora (Pechumer) who we lovingly refer to as "Cookie"; who survives. Ron was a self employed building contractor. He co-owned and operated Ruff & Kreger Builders in Albion for 46 years. He was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed the beautiful scenery of the northern woods. Ron took great delight in attending the ball games of his grandchildren. He was loved and will be greatly missed. Survivors include: wife, Lenora "Cookie" Kreger of Albion; (1) daughter, Roni and Keith Marks of Albion; (1) son, Craig Lee and Renee Kreger of Albion; (1) sister, Shirley and Julian Isaac of Albion; (2) brothers, Delano and Lynn Kreger of Homer and Gerald Kreger of Longbeach, CA; and (4) grandchildren, Chase, Craig, Jr., Morgan and Andrew. Ron was preceded in death by his parents and stepmother Oleva Kreger. Funeral service will be on held 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, October 14, at J. Kevin Tidd Funeral Home, 811 Finley Drive, Albion with Vicar Michael Belinsky and Reverend Dan Seng officiating. Interment will follow at Albion Memory Gardens in Albion. Visitation will be from 2-4 p.m. and 68 p.m. on Monday, October 13, at the funeral home.
