I was so sorry and saddened to read about Karen's passing. I have fond memories of working with her in the Battle Creek Public Schools and admired her ability to return to college and pursue a degree in occupational therapy after having practiced as a physical therapy assistant. Although I had not seen her or talked with her in a few years, I often thought of her as she worked in Muncie near where, in the past, some of my family has lived and worked. My thoughts and prayers are offered to the family. Hold those wonderful memories close to your heart and they will sustain you in the days to come.
