Dear Black's,
My thoughts go out to you during this painful and agonizing time. Maxine was a very special and good hearted lady that was a positive example for each of us. I appreciated working with her at Children's Place in the Park. Her commitment to children and other co-workers was steadfast. As you each heal from your great loss, may you all be filled with great memories that will continue to sustain you. My best,

Sharon White

I had the pleasure of working with Max at both Children's Place in the Park and Kids Campus. I met her when I was a teacher's aide and she worked in the kitchen at CPP. I also got the pleasure of working with her recently at Kids Campus. Max was one of the sweetest, kindest people I have ever met. Though there was always lots of gossip going around the daycare, I never once heard Max say anything bad or negative about anyone. At Kids Campus, she would often open the door for me when I came to work and she was usually the first face I saw. I miss not seeing her smiling face. She reminded me of my own grandma. I miss her very much and my thoughts and prayers are with Cathy and the rest of the family.

Richard, Larry, Tom, & Cathy, you have my deepest sympathies with the passing of your Mom. When we were growing up she "tried" to be stearn with us teenagers, but it usually ended up with her cute smile and then her laughter.May there be peace in your hearts during this time knowing she is in a much better place where we will all meet again.

I am so sorry for the great loss of Maxine to your family and for all of us. I worked with Max at Altrusa Childrens Place in the Park until she recently transferred. She was such a sweet, quiet, lady. I now realize that there was so much about her that I didn't know, or try to get to know and I am sorry for that. I will miss her so much. Thank you for her life, and I am sure she will be in heaven taking care of the children there.

Hello!
I know this is a hard time for all. I went thru this when my Dad Al Cantine died and my mom Mary. I live way down in Lake Panasoffkee,FL since 1978.
Richard Lee was named after my brother Richard Lee. I remember your Mom and Dad when they first got married. My Dad really took to Bill and had them over alot. It is a shame our family isn't closer. I would love to hear from anyone.
Your second cousin,
Beverly Moorehead
