Ileen Weller Obituary

Ileen Weller Albion Ileen Weller, age 88, of Albion, passed away January 19, 2009 at Oaklawn Hospital in Marshall. She was born April 20, 1920 in Taber, Alberta, Canada to Clarence and Annie (Johnson) Anderson. Ileen came to Michigan in 1938, becoming a U.S. Citizen in 1956. On November 2, 1940 she married Raymond Weller in Ovid Township. He survives. Ileen was a homemaker. She enjoyed cooking, canning and was a former Campfire Leader. Ileen spent the past 30 years wintering in Florida were she belonged to the Red Hat Society. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family. She is survived by her husband, Raymond J. Weller; daughter, Sharon Weller of Albion; son, Daniel (Myrna) Weller of Albion; daughter-in-law, Marcy Weller of Coldwater; brother, Robert (Maureen) Anderson of Calgary, Alberta; 3 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Dennis; brother, Lewis; and sisters, Norma Sharp and Helen Burris. Funeral Service will be held 1:30 p.m. Thursday, January 22, at J. Kevin Tidd Funeral Home, 811 Finley Drive, Albion with the Reverend Bobbie Weller officiating. Burial will be at Albion Memory Gardens. Visitation will be Wednesday January 21, from 5:00 till 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home and 1 hour prior to service on Thursday.
