Mark Gilbert Obituary

Mark Lynn Gilbert Battle Creek Mark Lynn Gilbert, 50 of Battle Creek left this earth to be with the Lord on January 31, 2009 as a result of an auto accident. Mark was born on June 5, 1958 in Battle Creek the son of William and Arlene (Bolton) Gilbert and was preceded in death by his father. Mark was a 1977 graduate of Battle Central High School. He was most recently employed as a Delivery Agent for the Battle Creek Enquirer and had previously worked at Asama Coldwater Manufacturing. Mark is survived by his mother, Arlene; two sons: Andrew and Luke Gilbert all of Battle Creek; brother: David (Sandra) Gilbert of Bellevue; sister: Judy (Mike) Strasser of Sunfield; and a niece and nephew. A memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Hope Church of the Nazarene, 901 W. Michigan Avenue with Pastor Walter Thompson officiating. Memorial contributions may be directed to the American Cancer Society or Hope Church of the Nazarene. Arrangements by the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home.
