Dick and Stanlay Webber

Dear Irma,
Our thoughts are with you as we recall a lifetime of pleasant family memories. Ern's quiet example and positive leadership when faced with some of the most challenging of life's experiences provides an extraordinary example for all priviledged to know him. We will miss him dearly.

Dear Irma, Russ, Kate, Sue and family:
It has been a couple days since we got the sad news about Ernie's passing, but you are much in our minds and hearts. Ernie was such a special uncle to me and my brother, Dick. We always looked forward to visits because he liked to do "fun" things with us. As kids, we looked forward to boat rides on Goguac Lake with him and, of course, seeing the wonderful model ships and other things he built. As I recall, one beautiful yacht he made was even named "The Bob-Dick." At Christmas time, when many other gifts to us were sweaters, shirts, etc., Ernie always made sure we got a real toy that boys would like to play with. Later on, we enjoyed being with him and you on Grand River houseboat trips. It was sad that he was not able to communicate well and enjoy much of life during the recent past, but he is now free from pain and limitations, and he will always be remembered for the warmth, caring, and joy he brought to so many. With deepest sympathy, Bob (and Liz, Barbara, and Mike)

Mrs. Webber and family,
We were saddened to here of Ernie's passing, and wanted to let you know that you were in our thoughts and prayers. We lived a couple of doors down from you on Orchard Ave for 25 years, and Ernie was a great neighbor.

Dear Irma,
My deepest sympathy on Ernie's
passing. He was a favorite cousin
of mine, even tho he was a few years
older than me. I think it so wonderful
that you had all those wonderful years together. I am sorry I live so
far away and don't get to see my
Webber relatives. You are in my
thoughts and prayers.

Dear Irma,
Hazel just phoned to tell me of your loss. I remember when you came to the funeral home when my mom (Marie) died. I had told Hazel then that I knew right away he was a Webber.
You will be in our thoughts & prayers.

I remember my father, H.C. Eddy of Albion, who worked for Union Steel Products Company, speaking so very highly of Ernie Webber. My dad was in charge of the tool crib and had close contact with Ernie and Kendalls. My dad has been gone for nearly forty years but I still remember the name Ernie Webber and how well he was liked. My sympathy to the family.
